Pragmatic Play’s “pot” slots compared: how Triple Pot Gold, Triple Pot Diamond, Triple Hop Pots, Mahjong Wins Triple Pot and Dragon Pots Megaways trigger their bonus
Short answer — Pragmatic Play’s “pot” slots share one idea: coloured scatters are collected into pots above the reels, and the pots can randomly start the bonus. You do not need a fixed number of scatters on one spin. Which pots triggered then decides the modifiers. In Triple Pot Gold (96.02%), each pot puts fixed multipliers on certain reels, and all three together add 10x on reel 3. Triple Pot Diamond (96.57%) puts 5x on each triggering scatter’s position and 2x around it. Triple Hop Pots (96.50%) applies 2x–6x to whole reels. Mahjong Wins Triple Pot (96.50%) can add an instant win of up to 100,000x. Dragon Pots Megaways (96.58%) turns its three dragons into Wild, Multiplier and Bonus modifiers. What a triggered pot actually does
Triple Pot Gold: fixed reel multipliers that stack
In Triple Pot Gold, the bat adds 2x and 3x to reels 1 and 2. The dragon adds 3x, 5x and 3x to reels 2, 3 and 4. The tiger adds 3x and 2x to reels 4 and 5. All three together put 10x on reel 3, and the page says multipliers stack. In free spins, money symbols (2x–500x in the base game) are paid without needing a collect symbol. As an illustrative example of our own: a 20x money symbol on reel 3 with only the dragon active pays 100x, or ₱1,000 on a ₱10 bet.
Triple Pot Diamond: hot spots, not hot reels
Triple Pot Diamond marks the exact positions where the triggering scatters landed with 5x, and the neighbouring positions with 2x, for the whole round. Each extra scatter adds three spins.
Triple Hop Pots: whole-reel multipliers on 3×3
In Triple Hop Pots, each frog applies 2x–6x to an entire reel of a 3×3 grid, and coins pay up to 500x.
Mahjong Wins Triple Pot and Dragon Pots Megaways
Mahjong Wins Triple Pot gives eight free spins and an instant win of up to 100,000x, and turns the reels under the triggering pots fully gold. Dragon Pots Megaways starts 10 free spins with the modifiers that triggered it: Wild turns up to five symbols wild, Multiplier adds up to 10x on every spin, and Bonus adds more. Each extra modifier gives five more spins.
RTP in pesos
On ₱10,000 of total bets, Triple Pot Gold’s 96.02% means an expected long-run cost of ₱398, against ₱343 for Triple Pot Diamond (96.57%), by our calculation, a ₱55 gap between two very similar-looking games. The other three fall in between.
Choosing a pot slot
- If RTP matters to you, prefer Triple Pot Diamond or Dragon Pots Megaways over Triple Pot Gold.
- For reel-wide multipliers, choose Triple Pot Gold or Triple Hop Pots. For position-based ones, choose Triple Pot Diamond.
- Remember that pots trigger at random: filling them does not guarantee a bonus on the next spin.
